Network Engineer

We're working with well-established custom software business who are looking for a System/ Network Engineer to join their infrastructure team. The company works with a broad mix of local SMEs, and its engineers are known for staying close to clients and solving problems before they become emergencies.

You will be the go-to technical contact for a portfolio of business clients, keeping their IT environments stable, secure and up to date. Expect a varied week: remote support one day, on-site rollouts the next, plus a healthy dose of client advice in between.

Day to day

• Managing and supporting client infrastructure (servers, networks, firewalls, Microsoft 365 and Azure)
• Resolving support requests by phone and through the helpdesk
• Installing and configuring hardware and systems at client sites
• Reviewing client IT setups and recommending improvements
• Explaining technical solutions clearly to non-technical users

Your Profile

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server, Exchange or SQL Server, and virtualisation
• Familiarity with tools such as Fortinet, VMware, Veeam and VPN solutions
• A proactive, service-minded approach and strong communication skills
• Comfortable working independently and juggling different types of tasks
• Dutch-speaking is ideal
