Network Engineer

Our client is an international group supporting its operations across multiple countries through centralized IT functions. The company operates in a modern technology environment with a strong focus on international collaboration and the continuous development of its network and information security solutions. We are looking for a Global Network & Security Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Operate, support, and continuously improve the group’s network and IT security infrastructure.
• Manage on-premises and cloud-based network environments, including routing, switching, VLAN, WLAN, and VPN solutions.
• Configure, maintain, and enhance firewalls and other network security solutions.
• Operate security platforms and implement related technical security measures.
• Analyze security events and alerts, manage incidents, and follow up on identified issues.
• Collaborate with external security service providers on incident management and monitoring activities.
• Provide second- and third-level technical support and investigate complex technical issues.
• Actively contribute to network and security projects, including the planning and implementation of infrastructure changes.
• Support international teams and work closely with colleagues across different countries.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience in enterprise networking and IT security.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of routing, switching, VLAN, WLAN, and VPN technologies.
• Experience in operating and configuring enterprise firewalls; knowledge of Barracuda environments is a strong advantage.
• Hands-on experience with HPE/Aruba networking solutions and Zscaler technologies.
• Confident English communication skills for working effectively in an international environment.
