A leading global insurance company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the migration of its Japan servers and applications to a public cloud platform from a network perspective.

This position reports to the Head of International Network Services and works closely with Infrastructure Support, Application Developers, offshore core support resources, and Application Managers.

The role involves analyzing network routing, firewalls, DNS, and load balancers to ensure a seamless cloud migration process, while providing effective network services for the Japan region and global locations as needed.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop network solutions for cloud migration in alignment with global standards; document and present these solutions for global review

- Collaborate with third-party vendors to manage solution delivery

- Provide escalation support for critical operational services and project deliveries

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Japan business teams, business IT, and third-party vendors to ensure high-quality network services for users

- Foster effective collaboration across teams and other IS departments to advance initiatives with IT partners and end users

- Establish and maintain productive working relationships with key stakeholders, project sponsors, and vendors

- Engage effectively with staff and management at all levels, both internally and externally

- Identify and propose opportunities to enhance IS Japan's engagement with IT colleagues and end users

- Work closely with global teams and key vendors to ensure compliance with global standards and alignment with organizational priorities

Required Skills:

- Bachelor's degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Experience deploying and supporting routing and switching, wireless networking, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, DNS, and DHCP within large-scale corporate environments

- Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) solutions such as Juniper Mist or Cisco ACI

- Experience supporting cloud infrastructures such as AWS or GCP

- Experience working in complex global and domestic network environments with 200+ sites

- Relevant certifications such as CCSP, CCDP, CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent expertise

- Capable of working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Flexible and adaptable to changes within dynamic and uncertain environments

- Japanese-High Intermediate (Approx.. JLPT N2), English-Advance

本ポジションは、International Network Servicesのヘッドに直属し、インフラストラクチャサポート、アプリケーション開発チーム、オフショアコアサポートリソース、およびアプリケーションマネージャーと密接に連携します。

ネットワークルーティング、ファイアウォール、DNS、ロードバランサーの分析を行い、円滑なクラウド移行プロセスを実現するとともに、日本地域および必要に応じてグローバル拠点向けに効果的なネットワークサービスを提供する役割です。

業務内容:

- グローバル標準に沿ったクラウド移行のためのネットワークソリューションの設計・開発、およびグローバルレビュー向けの文書化・プレゼンテーション

- サードパーティベンダーと連携したソリューション提供の管理

- 重要な運用サービスおよびプロジェクト提供におけるエスカレーション対応

- 日本のビジネスチーム、ビジネスIT、サードパーティベンダーとの強固な関係構築・維持による高品質なネットワークサービスの提供

- 他のITチームやIS部門との効果的な連携によるITパートナー・エンドユーザー向け施策の推進

- 主要ステークホルダー、プロジェクトスポンサー、ベンダーとの良好な協力関係の構築・維持

- 社内外のスタッフ・マネジメント層との効果的なコミュニケーション

- IS Japanとしての、ITメンバーおよびエンドユーザーとのエンゲージメント向上機会の特定・提案

- グローバルチームおよび主要ベンダーとの連携によるグローバル基準への準拠および組織優先事項との整合性確保

必須スキル:

- 学士号以上、または同等の教育・実務経験

- 大規模な企業環境における、ルーティング・スイッチング、無線ネットワーク、ファイアウォール、ロードバランサー、プロキシ、DNS、DHCPの導入・運用経験

- Juniper MistやCisco ACIなどのSoftware Defined Networking（SDN）ソリューションの経験

- AWSまたはGCPなどのクラウドインフラのサポート経験

- 200拠点以上のグローバルおよび国内の複雑なネットワーク環境での業務経験

- CCSP、CCDP、CCNP、CCIE等の関連資格、または同等の専門知識

- 技術者・非技術者双方のステークホルダーとの協業能力

- 変化の多い、不確実性の高い環境への柔軟な適応力

- 日本語ー中級（JLPT N2レベル相当）、英語ービジネスレベル（TOEIC860点相当）
