The Role: 11:11 seeks a skilled Network Engineer, Service Delivery to help customers implement their services in 11:11's global cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience as a Cisco Network Engineer preferably at managed service or IaaS provider. This is a full-time remote position, and candidates available to work primarily during Pacific Time business hours will be preferred. The selected candidate will report directly to the Manager, Service Delivery Engineering and will be responsible for deploying, managing, and troubleshooting a variety of networking configurations such as switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments. Responsibilities: Lead network deployment activities during customer onboarding, maintaining accountability for delivery quality and customer experience. Document work in the company ticketing system and create/maintain documentation in the knowledge base Provide accountability for all responsibilities assigned regarding 11:11’s cloud network systems Work with project managers to complete assigned tasks Manage and troubleshoot networking configurations, including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and IPSEC VPNs for customer deployments Design and architect network topologies for diverse environments Pursue advanced certifications and stay abreast of current technologies in the Cisco/VMware product space Develop and maintain deployment processes as technologies and permissions change Assist Support and Technical Account Managers with advanced customer issues Work supportively with colleagues, operating in a manner that is consistent with 11:11’s Code of Business Ethics and Company Values Responsibly receive, transmit, and handle company data and information per Company data handling agreements, work procedures and policies Review and follow company policies and guidelines, data privacy practices, including annual compliance training certification and policy acknowledgments Additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience. 5+ years of recent experience as a technical, hands-on Cisco network engineer in a managed services, IaaS, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise environment. Cisco CCNP/CCIE certification with documented work experience is preferred. Strong working knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including BGP, IPsec, network segmentation, VRFs, Switching, VLANs and load balancers is preferred. Experience with virtualization clusters (VMware) and software-defined networking, VMware NSX is preferred. Experience working with global data center environment. Experience deploying virtual appliances in cloud preferably Cisco, Fortigate, Palo Alto, Netscaler, F5, SonicWall and Juniper Networks will be considered Experience working directly with enterprise customers, project managers, and cross-functional delivery teams is preferred. Participate in occasional scheduled after-hours work, including customer cutovers, migrations, and related implementation activities. Ability to automate network deployments, validation, and operational tasks to reduce manual effort and improve consistency.
