Network Segmentation SPOC / Project Manager (Banking Sector)

• Location: Helsinki or Stockholm – 75% Remote
• Assignment Period: Nov 2026 – Dec 2026 (Strong potential for prolongation)
• Allocation: 100% (40 hours/week)

About the Role:

We are currently looking for an experienced Network Segmentation SPOC for our major financial sector client. The consultant will act as the primary interface between the regulatory network segmentation programme and Application Owners (AOs), Application Providers, and technical teams to drive the adoption and implementation of critical network segmentation controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment to ensure successful rollout of network segmentation controls across assigned applications and services.
• Communicate regulatory compliance requirements, implementation timelines, and expected outcomes to relevant business and technical stakeholders.
• Coordinate the mapping, documentation, and validation of application communication flows, dependencies, and connectivity requirements.
• Facilitate workshops and working sessions with technical teams, Network Engineers, Security Architects, and Risk Management.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks, dependencies, and compliance status, ensuring timely escalation of blockers.
• Support the preparation of Solution Design Documents (SDDs), firewall rule changes, and executive-level status reporting.

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in IT project delivery, cybersecurity programs, infrastructure transformation, or operational resilience within a large enterprise environment.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills to engage senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong grasp of network security fundamentals: Network Segmentation, Firewall technologies, communication flows, Least Privilege principles, and Security Zones/Trust Boundaries.
• Proven experience managing risks, issues, and dependencies in large-scale regulatory or transformation programmes.
• Professional working proficiency in English (fluent).
