Network Security Engineer

We’re seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer on behalf of our clients in financial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network security solutions.
• Configure and manage next-generation firewalls and security policies.
• Support and monitor security platforms, including EDR, IPS/IDS, SOC, and SASE solutions.
• Implement and maintain secure VPN connectivity for remote users and site-to-site communications.
• Manage and optimize Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to protect critical applications.
• Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot Cisco Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
• Participate in security incident investigations, threat analysis, and remediation activities.
• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and compliance-related tasks.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support security and networking projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements & Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in Network Security Administration, Network Engineering, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with one or more of the following firewall platforms:
• Cisco Secure Firewall
• Check Point
• Fortinet FortiGate
• Experience with:
• Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
• Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS)
• Security Operations Center (SOC) environments
• Secure Access Service Edge (SASE)
• Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
• VPN technologies (Remote Access & Site-to-Site)
• Strong knowledge of Cisco networking technologies, including Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols.
• Experience in troubleshooting complex network and security issues.
• Understanding of network security best practices and security frameworks.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Cisco Secure Workload (formerly Cisco Tetration).
• Exposure to micro-segmentation and Zero Trust security architectures.
• Experience with cloud networking and cloud security solutions.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet NSE, Check Point CCSA/CCSE, Security+, or equivalent.
