Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Subject Matter Expert (SME) with extensive expertise in enterprise network security technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in firewall management, VPN technologies, network security operations, and troubleshooting across complex enterprise environments. This role requires hands-on experience with Palo Alto and Fortinet security platforms, proactive security monitoring, and support of critical production infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage firewall lifecycle activities including deployments, migrations, upgrades, refreshes, and policy optimization.
• Deploy, administer, and support Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Configure and troubleshoot IPsec, SSL, Site-to-Site, and Remote Access VPNs.
• Perform firewall and VPN troubleshooting, traffic analysis, packet validation, and root cause analysis.
• Support NAC, security monitoring, and observability platforms for proactive issue detection and resolution.
• Integrate firewalls with IDS/IPS, SIEM, Secure Web Gateways, Proxy, and Authentication solutions.
• Provide operational support and security incident resolution in mission-critical environments.

Required Skills:

• 12+ years of IT experience with a focus on Network Security.
• Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto and Fortinet FortiGate firewalls.
• Strong experience in Firewall Lifecycle Management and security policy optimization.
• Deep knowledge of VPN technologies, network troubleshooting, and traffic analysis.
• Experience with NAC, SIEM, IDS/IPS, Proxy, and Authentication solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
