Since 2014, this Berlin-headquartered company has grown into one of Europe’s leading partners for premium custom signage. Its signage appears in flagship stores, showrooms, hotels and offices for some of the best-known names in retail, luxury, automotive, hospitality and tech.
The product is proven and clients come back for repeat orders and multi-location rollouts because the quality and delivery are consistently excellent.
The next step is building a dedicated new business function to match that reputation. That’s where you come in.
The role
This is a true hunter role. You won’t inherit a book of accounts. You’ll open doors with enterprise brands across Germany and Europe and turn first conversations into signed signage projects.
Once a client signs, an experienced internal team handles all delivery. Your focus stays on pipeline, new accounts and growing relationships over time.
You probably work at a brand experience or shopper marketing agency, a POS or visual merchandising supplier, a Ladenbau or Messebau company, an event agency, or a large-format print house today. If you enjoy getting in front of brand and retail marketing decision-makers, this role is built for you.
Tasks
What you’ll do
- Identify and win new enterprise brand accounts, from first outreach to signed contract
- Build relationships with Heads of Brand, Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising and senior marketing leaders
- Navigate buying processes involving marketing, retail operations and procurement
- Scope signage projects with clients and brief the internal team clearly from day one
- Lead pricing negotiations and shape deal structures that protect margin
- Grow accounts through repeat orders, upsell and multi-location rollouts
- Keep your pipeline clean and up to date in the CRM
- Represent the company at selected trade fairs and events such as EuroShop
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- 2+ years in new business, key account or sales roles, selling to senior decision-makers on high-value deals
- A genuine hunter mentality: you build pipeline from scratch and are driven by ambitious goals
- A track record of opening doors and building a network among brand, marketing or retail contacts
- Structured pipeline management and CRM discipline that keeps complex deals moving
- Commercial acumen: you think in margins, pricing and deal structures
- You listen first and understand what really matters to a client before you pitch
- Native-level German and professional English
Nice to have
- A background in brand experience, retail or shopper marketing agencies, POS and visual merchandising, Ladenbau, Messebau, event agencies with retail or gastro clients, or large-format production
- Hands-on experience with tenders, RFPs and framework agreements
- An existing network among brand, retail marketing or visual merchandising leaders in DACH
- Experience using trade fairs as a lead generation channel
Benefits
What’s in it for you
- A signage product major European brands already love, so you’re opening doors with a strong reputation behind you
- Zero delivery responsibility once you close, so your time goes into selling
- Real autonomy over your pipeline, relationships and approach
- A hybrid setup in Berlin with a founder-led team that has been building since 2014
If you know how to get in front of the right people and turn a first meeting into a signed deal, we’d love to hear from you.
