New Grad Program 

Candidates selected for this position will be included in Hydro One's New Grad development program.

Our New Graduate program reflects our long-term commitment to invest time and resources to build the best and brightest team. We are always on the lookout for individuals who have a passion for learning and are looking to build their career with Hydro One. 

 The two-year program offers a permanent position from Day 1, a combination of training and coaching, and the ability to rotate through several roles allowing New Grads to gain experience working on different projects and in different environments.  

Program Eligibility 

• • You have graduated with your bachelor's degree in 2025, 2026 or will graduate by May 2027 

• • Or, you are currently completing a master's degree in a related field, you are graduating by May 2027, and have a maximum of 1 year between completing your bachelor's degree and enrolling in your master's program. 

• • Good Academic Standing (A copy of your Official/Unofficial Transcript) 

• • Valid, permanent driver's license (Ontario Class G) 

Overview

The Customer Experience Enablement team supports our Customer Service operations group by performing the following functions: quality assurance, training, process definition, change management, employee engagement, workforce management and data analytics & insights. This group also supports the Customer Experience strategy work - a key part of our overall company strategy.

We Are looking for 2 Business/Finance New Grads within our Performance Excellence team

The performance excellence team focuses on the continuous improvement model - how do we make our operations employees better, faster, more accurate and have great customer experience. This is done through a mix of quality assurance, process monitoring, continuous improvement activity and training reinforcement. Data analytics and insights into our operations and customer experiences are a key input into this cycle.

In this role you will learn:

• How continuous improvement cycles can improve customer experience and operations
• How various teams collaborate through their specialization to reinforce and improve an operation
• Customer Experience design
• Customer satisfaction measurement
• Data and analytics capabilities
• Strategy and connection to operational activity

Duties may include:

• Participating in major business or IT projects
• Examining data, looking for relevant insights and turning these into recommendations
• Learning how many departments activities across Hydro One all need to coordinate and act to serve a customer
• Process definition and frameworks or tools to use to examine an identified issue

Job Requirements:

• Must meet New Grad Program Eligibility Requirements
• Discipline: Business Analytics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Commerce, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields.
• Must be available for hybrid work - and the work location is Markham with occasional travel to other Hydro One locations around the province (Southern Ontario)
• Must be a capable individual contributor, but able and willing to work with a group to achieve a common outcome
