Semidynamics is a Barcelona-based European deep-tech company that designs high-performance RISC-V

processor IP and AI inference solutions for AI, Machine Learning and HPC workloads. We work in an innovative,

international and fast-growing environment, alongside leading industry partners and strategic European

technology initiatives.

The Role

As NPI Operations Manager, you will provide the integrated, end-to-end view of readiness for bringing our AI

inference system-level products to market. You will connect the plans of engineering, supply chain, procurement,

manufacturing, quality, commercial and service teams into one coherent NPI timeline. You will make

dependencies, risks and gaps visible, and orchestrate the follow-up needed to launch on time.

This is a cross-functional integration role, not a functional ownership role. Functional teams keep ownership of

their deliverables and decisions. You connect the dots across the organization and give leadership a clear, reliable

picture of readiness.

What You Will Do

• Build and maintain the integrated NPI readiness schedule, critical path and cross-functional dependencies.

• Map the end-to-end NPI process: stages, gates, hand-offs, readiness criteria and the RACI.

• Integrate readiness across the operational chain: electronic components, PCAs, systems, manufacturing

partners, production ramp-up, logistics, and service and support.

• Identify risks, delays and gaps between functional plans early, drive follow-up and escalate when needed.

• Prepare and facilitate readiness and phase-gate reviews (EVT, DVT, PVT, launch), giving decision-makers

consolidated, objective information.

• Maintain the cross-functional log of risks, issues, dependencies and decisions, making sure every item has a

clear functional owner.

• Clarify interfaces and hand-offs between functions (e.g. engineering to manufacturing, operations to

service) and facilitate alignment on cross-functional actions.

• Provide the executive team with concise readiness dashboards and status reports.

• Standardize and continuously improve the NPI process, tools and templates, and run lessons-learned

sessions after each program.

Technical and business knowledge

• Solid understanding of electronics manufacturing operations: component supply chain, PCA fabrication and

assembly, system integration and test, and after-sales service processes.

• Deep knowledge of NPI and stage-gate processes (EVT, DVT, PVT, production release), product lifecycle and

industrialization of electronic systems.

• Sufficient understanding of HPC and AI infrastructure (accelerators, servers, rack-scale systems) to follow

technical discussions and assess the schedule impact of technical issues.

• Awareness of certification, regulatory and trade compliance requirements for IT equipment (e.g. CE, safety,

EMC, environmental) and their typical lead times.

• Strong command of integrated planning, dependency and risk management, and process mapping (e.g.

swimlanes, RACI), with tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira or equivalent.

Core competencies

• Systemic, end-to-end thinking: keeps the big picture while tracking the details that matter.

• Ability to influence and align senior functional leaders without formal authority.

• Courage to challenge inconsistencies and gaps between plans, and to report bad news early and factually.

• Neutral, trusted facilitator who adds clarity without adding bureaucracy.

• Highly structured, rigorous and persistent in follow-up.

• Clear, concise communication at all levels, from engineering teams to executive management and external

partners.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the technology industry, including at least 5 years in NPI, operations program

management or cross-functional integration roles.

• Proven track record introducing complex hardware products (servers, storage, networking, HPC, data-center

or similar electronic systems) through to volume production and customer deployment.

• Strong operations background covering electronic component supply, PCA manufacturing, system

production, and service and support operations.

• Experience integrating schedules, dependencies and readiness across engineering, supply chain,

manufacturing, quality, commercial and support functions in a matrix organization.

• Experience working with external suppliers and manufacturing partners, preferably in an international

context including Asia-Pacific.

• Experience designing or improving stage-gate NPI processes is a strong plus, as is experience in a fast-

growing or scale-up environment.

Education

• Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Industrial

Engineering or a related technical field.

• Program or project management certification (e.g. PMP, Prince2) is highly valued; complementary business

training (e.g. MBA) is a plus.

Languages

• English: fluent (mandatory).

• Spanish: fluent (recommended).

• Additional languages are a plus.
