Role Description The NGO Coordinator is a full-time remote role responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring Wendi Foundation’s programs and projects. This role oversees daily operations such as organizing activities, tracking project timelines and budgets, and ensuring effective communication with partners, volunteers, and community stakeholders. The coordinator will prepare reports and documentation, support grant applications and donor relations, and maintain accurate records of program outcomes and impact. The role also involves facilitating online meetings and trainings, aligning initiatives with Wendi’s mission and strategy, and collaborating with internal teams to improve processes and strengthen community engagement.

Qualifications

  • Program and project management skills, including planning, coordination, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, including clear written communication, professional email and report writing, and virtual meeting facilitation.
  • Stakeholder engagement skills, including relationship-building with communities, partners, donors, and volunteers.
  • Organizational and administrative skills, including documentation, record-keeping, and basic budgeting or grant management.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in non-profit work, community development, education, or leadership programs.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with common digital tools (e.g., email, office productivity software, online collaboration platforms).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Project Management, Education, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
