Every outage has a clock, and behind it is a team making sure critical power equipment is safe to run again. As our Non-Destructive Specialist in Malaysia, you'll be part of that team, using your NDT expertise on gas services projects across Asia Pacific. You'll see your work make a visible difference, learn new skills along the way, and be backed by a regional network of experts.

How You'll Make An Impact

  • Perform calibrations and NDT (UT, PT, MT, and RT/ET where applicable), and evaluate parts for acceptance or rejection
  • Operate FPI, MPI, ET or UT lines per inspection checklists and work instructions, including preparing, cleaning and sorting parts before and after testing
  • Carry out scheduled maintenance, upkeep and calibration of NDT systems, tooling and testing equipment to keep them ready for use
  • Conduct regular NDT area audits to help ensure compliance with regulatory and OEM standards
  • Assist engineers with inspection evaluation, documentation and technical reporting
  • Support and guide specialist tasks during scheduled or unscheduled maintenance as part of our regional multiskilling concept, upholding strong HSE practices on-site and off-site


What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Process Engineering, or an equivalent technical vocational qualification
  • 3–5 years of NDT experience in power services or Oil & Gas, with a hands-on mechanical maintenance background
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in MT and PT, and in UT
  • ISO 9712 Level 2 certification in RT or ET
  • Strong skills in technical documentation interpretation, tooling calibration and upkeep, quality audits, and ISO 9712 and HSE compliance
  • Analytical problem solving, cross-functional collaboration, and resilience and adaptability under pressure

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
