This is an exciting time to join a creative and innovative team. We're looking for professionals who thrive on transforming and shaping services as we continue to grow and improve.

The Somerset Adult ADHD Service is seeking a Band 7 Non-Medical Prescriber to join our compassionate, forward-thinking, and values-driven team. We are a county-wide service dedicated to delivering high-quality ADHD assessments and treatment for adults in Somerset who have not yet received a diagnosis.

In This Role, You Will

  • Conduct ADHD assessments and provide pharmacological treatments
  • Prescribe 'off-label' and controlled drugs as an independent prescriber
  • Lead quality improvement projects as our service evolves

What We Offer

  • Flexible working options: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
  • Compressed hours available
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • CPD funding and access to training within the scope of the service
  • A supportive, values-driven environment focused on wellbeing

Nurses with RN qualification: in order to carry out ADHD assessments, it's essential to have broad experience in adult psychiatry. The ability to assess differential diagnoses is a critical part of the role. If you feel you can demonstrate you have transferable skills, we welcome your application.
