Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Addiction Medicine (PRN)
Join our collaborative Addiction Medicine team as a PRN Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) providing direct patient care for individuals with substance use disorders, including Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD).
You'll work alongside physicians, APPs, and clinical social workers in an integrated care environment focused on improving patient outcomes and supporting recovery.
Schedule & Location
- PRN, preferred availability of approximately 16 hours per week
- No weekends or call requirements
- Hybrid work opportunity after training and onboarding, onsite work will be based at the Mercy Virtual Care Center in Chesterfield, MO.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Provide medication management, including MOUD services
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Educate patients and families on treatment, recovery, and health maintenance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority as required
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
