We are hiring : NX Open Developer – Mechanical Engineer (MCAD)

Multivision is looking for an experienced NX Open Developer / Mechanical Engineer (MCAD) to join a co-sourcing engagement supporting PLM operations. This role sits within Second Level Support as a Solution Expert for application operations, covering the full lifecycle of incidents and problems — planning, definition, specification, implementation, testing, stakeholder coordination, and approval for productive deployment.

The position also supports the broader Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) operations area, including dispatching, client and infrastructure performance, user training, and documentation for Business Process Engineering.

This is a full remote opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional with strong programming skills who wants to combine hands-on MCAD development with process optimization for a global engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use NX Open to customize and automate MCAD applications, enhancing efficiency and integrating these tools into the development process (mandatory).
• Support development departments in creating and maintaining mechanical designs, assemblies, drawings, and drawingless models with PMI.
• Provide technical support for the company's MCAD systems, particularly Siemens NX, Teamcenter Visualization, and other MCAD tools, including
• Teamcenter as the PDM/PLM system.
• Develop and optimize workflows in mechanical design and detailing to make development processes more efficient and reliable.
• Analyze and implement requirements from designers and developers to ensure optimized solutions across all relevant design processes.
• Perform simulations and tests to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.

Requirements:

• Senior-level programming experience with NX Open and languages such as .NET / C# for extending and automating MCAD applications.
• Senior-level experience in mechanical design and MCAD support, including defining and optimizing design and development processes.
• Mid-level experience with MCAD tools such as Siemens NX or comparable systems, plus knowledge of viewing programs like Teamcenter Visualization.
• Mid-level experience working with Teamcenter, including TC Vis and/or other PDM/PLM systems.
• Mid-level experience in IT environments, ideally supporting technical systems and processes in the MCAD area.
• Junior-level experience as a Knowledge Fusion Programmer, including exposure to complex Checkmate solutions for engineering data quality in NX (IEC service and extensions through project Pioneer).
• Mid-level knowledge of R&D development processes, especially in hardware and mechanical development.
