Lead the Launch of Obtelecare Maternal-Fetal Medicine Programs
Obtelecare is seeking a strategic, relationship-focused Director of Customer Onboarding to lead the end-to-end implementation of telehealth Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) programs for hospitals, health systems, and physician practices nationwide. In this high-impact individual contributor role, you will guide customers from contract handoff through go-live, align clinical and operational stakeholders, and ensure each virtual MFM program launches successfully and delivers meaningful value.
You will serve as the primary customer contact throughout onboarding, partnering with clinical, operations, credentialing, information technology, revenue cycle, contracting, and business development teams. Your leadership will streamline implementation, reduce time to onboard, strengthen the customer experience, and prepare clients and providers for sustainable virtual specialty care delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation for Obtelecare telehealth MFM programs.
- Build trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and physician stakeholders.
- Create and manage implementation plans, timelines, milestones, risk mitigation strategies, and go-live readiness activities.
- Coordinate telehealth technology deployment, clinical workflow integration, provider scheduling, credentialing, privileging, and operational preparation.
- Translate current-state maternal care workflows into effective future-state virtual MFM service models.
- Lead recurring implementation meetings and deliver clear executive-level updates to internal and external stakeholders.
- Track onboarding metrics, implementation performance, and customer satisfaction to improve efficiency, scalability, and outcomes.
- Ensure a smooth transition from implementation to ongoing client success and operational support after go-live.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 3 years of success managing complex customer onboarding, healthcare implementation, or comparable healthcare or medical services initiatives.
- Strong project leadership, strategic thinking, stakeholder management, negotiation, process improvement, and risk management capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across hospital, medical staff, executive, patient, government, and community audiences.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment while operating effectively as an individual contributor.
Preferred Experience
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine, women’s health, obstetrics, neonatal, perinatal, or broader maternal healthcare experience.
- Physician practice management or obstetrical services experience.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and applicable state and federal healthcare regulations.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
