Services are offered across Melbourne and Western Sydney, with a focus on accessible and flexible support in the community.

Role Description This is a full-time Occupational Therapist role based in Melbourne, VIC, with a hybrid work arrangement that includes both in-home community visits and some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing participants in their home environments, developing and implementing individualised therapy plans, and providing rehabilitation interventions to support functional independence. The role involves collaborating with families, caregivers, and other health professionals, documenting clinical notes and reports, and contributing to ongoing care planning. The Occupational Therapist will also provide education and guidance to participants and support networks, participate in case reviews, and ensure services align with relevant clinical standards and funding requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the appropriate professional board.
• Strong understanding of Occupational Therapy principles, including assessment, intervention planning, functional rehabilitation, and promoting independence.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with participants, families, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• An interest in or experience working with participants across different age groups, including paediatric participants.
• Experience in community or in-home therapy settings is highly desirable, but not essential.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage a mobile caseload, and use digital tools for clinical documentation and telehealth where required.
• Current driver’s licence, reliable transport, and willingness to comply with relevant safety and background checks.
