Company Description Inclusive Unit – The Educators Renaissance Campus is a specialized school-based program focused on supporting children with neurodevelopmental disorders through integrated learning and therapeutic services. Located within The Educators Renaissance Campus, the unit combines structured education with clinical interventions to provide coordinated academic and therapeutic support. Services include Speech Therapy, Behavior Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and an integrated classroom model that promotes learning readiness. Each child receives a structured assessment and an individualized intervention plan to address communication, behavioral regulation, sensory development, and academic engagement. The unit is committed to fostering a structured, disciplined, and compassionate environment where children with developmental challenges can grow into confident and valued members of the community.
Role Description This remote Occupational Therapist role focuses on delivering high-quality, child-centered therapy for learners with neurodevelopmental disorders in a school-based setting. The Occupational Therapist will conduct assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and provide virtual therapy sessions targeting sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, self-regulation, and functional independence in school activities. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with educators and other therapists to support the integrated classroom model, documenting progress, updating treatment plans, and communicating with caregivers about strategies for home and school environments. The role also involves participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, contributing to program development, and ensuring that services align with best practices in pediatric rehabilitation and inclusive education.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Occupational Therapy, including assessment and intervention planning for children with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Knowledge of Pediatrics and child development, with experience in school-based or pediatric therapy settings.
  • Understanding of Rehabilitation principles and functional goal setting to support participation in academic and daily activities.
  • Strong Communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, educators, caregivers, and children in a remote environment.
  • Relevant professional degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution; local licensure/registration where applicable.
  • Experience with telehealth or remote therapy delivery, including use of digital tools and documentation systems.
  • Ability to design structured, individualized intervention plans and adapt strategies to diverse learning and sensory needs.
  • Commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory, and trauma-informed practices that respect each child’s background and abilities.
