We’re launching a brand-new Occupational Therapy service, and we’re excited to be building our OT team around an exceptional Senior Occupational Therapist with 20+ years of clinical experience.

We’re now looking for a Generalist Occupational Therapist to join them as one of the founding members of our OT team.

The Role

As our Generalist Occupational Therapist, you’ll join Pop Family at the beginning of an exciting new OT service.

You’ll work alongside our Senior OT, an experienced clinician with 20+ years in the profession, as well as Pop’s existing team of 80+ Speech Pathologists, to deliver holistic and collaborative care.

You’ll manage a generalist caseload delivered via telehealth, working with both children and adults across areas including emotional regulation, sensory processing, feeding therapy and NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments.

Your caseload will build gradually, giving you the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and confidence while being closely supported by an experienced OT and our broader clinical leadership team.

As one of the first members of our OT team, you’ll also have the opportunity to contribute to how we build and grow our OT service.

You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Have completed an accredited Occupational Therapy qualification.
• Are enthusiastic about working with children and adults across emotional regulation, sensory processing and feeding therapy.
• Are curious about or keen to develop your skills in NDIS Functional Capacity Assessments.
• Believe in the power of telehealth to improve access to care.
• Are coachable, reflective and motivated by continuous learning and growth.
• Are organised, accountable and proactive in managing your caseload.
• Enjoy being part of something new and are excited by the opportunity to help build a growing OT service.

You’ll Also Need

• A recognised occupational therapy qualification (degree accredited by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia, or an equivalent approved international qualification).
• Current general registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA), or be eligible for registration.
• Ability to meet AHPRA’s registration standards on an ongoing basis: continuing professional development, professional indemnity insurance, criminal history check, English language skills and recency of practice.
• A Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility).
• A current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain one before starting).
• A current Working With Children Check, valid in your state or territory.
• Australian working rights.
