Odoo Specialist

Company Description Softagram is providing Odoo ERP, security and AI for customers with critical software. Our processes have been redesigned for agentic operations, and we have long customer relationships, where customers rely on our competence and there is high satisfaction. We are Finnish Odoo Partner with special competence on complex software, internal tools and high productivity.

Role Description As an Odoo Specialist at Softagram, you will configure, customize, and maintain Odoo modules to support internal business processes and, where applicable, customer-facing workflows. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and optimize Odoo for usability, data integrity, and performance. Daily tasks include managing integrations between Odoo and other systems, troubleshooting issues, implementing upgrades, and preparing documentation for users and technical teams. You will also collaborate with developers and operations to ensure smooth deployment of new features and continuous improvement of existing configurations. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Oulu, with flexibility for some work from home.

Qualifications

• Strong Odoo experience, including configuration, customization of standard modules, and workflow optimization.
• Good understanding of Python and PostgreSQL, and familiarity with APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with ERP or business process solutions (e.g., CRM, accounting, inventory, project management) and translating business needs into system features.
• Comfort working with Linux-based environments, version control tools (such as Git), and basic deployment practices.
• Ability to analyze requirements, document solutions clearly, and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a structured approach to testing and quality assurance.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setting in Oulu area, and manage priorities independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in a similar Odoo or ERP specialist role is highly beneficial.
