ON-CALL & WEEKEND SCHEDULING COORDINATOR Hybrid-Stuart, FL | Full Time | Benefits Eligible Remote On-Call (Wednesday-Monday): 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM | Weekend In Office (Saturday & Sunday): 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Join a Home Health Leader with 50 Years of Service For 50 years, Visiting Nurse Association of Florida (VNA) has been helping patients heal, recover, and remain independent at home. What You'll Do Provide after-hours on-call support for caregiver call-outs, urgent staffing needs, scheduling changes, and other time-sensitive operational needs. Coordinate Private Duty caregiver coverage to help ensure continuity of patient care. Communicate professionally with caregivers, patients, families, and internal team members during assigned coverage periods. Respond to scheduling needs and make appropriate schedule adjustments based on patient and caregiver needs. Document scheduling changes, communications, and actions taken accurately and timely. Monitor and follow up on outstanding scheduling and operational needs. Escalate clinical, operational, or other concerns to the appropriate team member when needed. Maintain accurate information in scheduling and documentation systems. Work closely with the Operations and Scheduling teams to support smooth transitions between after-hours, weekend, and regular business-hour coverage. Provide additional scheduling and operational support as assigned. On-call phone and computer provided for home. What You'll Need Must be able to train in the office during normal office hours. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in scheduling, healthcare, home care, customer service, or a related field preferred. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to remain calm and professional when handling urgent or changing situations. Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions within established procedures. Comfortable communicating by phone and using electronic scheduling and documentation systems. Dependable and responsive during assigned on-call and weekend coverage. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient and caregiver information appropriately. A compassionate, patient-centered approach and commitment to providing excellent service.
