Hancock Claims Consultants is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Onboarding Coordinator to join our Shared Services team. This role is responsible for coordinating contractor onboarding, credentialing, and offboarding activities while ensuring accurate documentation, compliance, and a positive onboarding experience.
We're looking for a proactive, solutions-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple priorities, and enjoys collaborating with others to support operational success.
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new contractors, ensuring timely completion of requirements.
- Collect, review, and verify required documentation, including licenses, certifications, insurance, and agreements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for contractors regarding onboarding requirements, deadlines, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, checklists, trackers, and information within company systems.
- Partner with Recruiting, Operations, IT, and other departments to coordinate training, system access, and equipment.
- Monitor onboarding progress, follow up on outstanding requirements, and resolve or escalate issues as needed.
- Support offboarding activities, including separation notifications, system access removal, equipment returns, and documentation.
- Assist with compliance reviews, reporting, process improvements, and special projects.
- Provide additional support to the onboarding team (HRN) while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with company policies.
- 2+ years of experience in onboarding, credentialing, recruiting coordination, contractor administration, or a related field preferred.
- Experience supporting contractor or field workforce onboarding and offboarding preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with onboarding, recruiting, or credentialing systems.
- Strong customer service, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
