About the Role

This is an opportunity to lead the people side of one of Casey's most significant organisational transformations.

As the OneCouncil Program Change and Communications Lead, you will lead the change, training and communications functions for Casey's Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) transformation. You will ensure our people are ready, supported and equipped to successfully adopt new ways of working.

Working across a large and complex organisation, you will partner with senior leaders, Directors and the Executive Leadership Team to shape change strategy, influence decision-making and guide the organisation through transformation. At the same time, you will remain connected to the detail, providing hands-on leadership and direction to a specialist team responsible for delivering change, communications and training outcomes across the program.

Success in this role requires the ability to seamlessly transition between the strategic and operational. One moment you may be presenting recommendations to governance forums or senior executives, and the next you may be coaching team members, reviewing change impacts, resolving risks or helping shape engagement approaches for a particular workstream.

Importantly, this role is about more than delivering a project. You will lead the organisational change required to ensure OneCouncil delivers meaningful and sustainable benefits long after implementation. You understand that successful transformation is measured not by go-live, but by lasting adoption, improved ways of working and the value realised for the organisation and community over time.

What You’ll Bring

  • Extensive experience leading change within large-scale, complex transformation programs that impact multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
  • The ability to influence, challenge and partner with senior executives while building trust and alignment across all organisational levels.
  • Strong people leadership capability, with a genuine passion for building team capability, coaching others and creating an environment where people can thrive and perform at their best.
  • A proven ability to move between big-picture strategic thinking and hands-on delivery, understanding both the enterprise impacts and operational realities of change.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear actions and outcomes.
  • Experience leading change, communications and learning functions as part of a large transformation program.
  • Formal change management certification such as Prosci, PCI, APMG or Agile Change Leadership.
  • A focus on benefits realisation and sustainable adoption, with a clear understanding that successful change extends beyond project delivery into long-term organisational outcomes.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check & Eligibility to Work check
