Role Description
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Online Tutors familiar with the Irish Curriculum to join Mixt Academy. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver engaging and effective online lessons to students following the Irish education system.
Key Responsibilities
Teach relevant subjects according to the Irish Curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual student needs.
Help students develop strong conceptual understanding and exam skills.
Guide exam techniques, assignments, and past-paper practice.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Motivate and support students to achieve their academic goals.
Maintain professional communication with students and parents.
Conduct interactive online lessons using platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
Requirements
Strong knowledge and teaching experience of the Irish Curriculum.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in the relevant subject is preferred.
Previous tutoring/teaching experience is highly preferred.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
Familiarity with Irish examination systems and assessment methods.
Reliable internet connection and a suitable setup for online teaching.
Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to engage, motivate, and support students effectively.
Note: We are specifically looking for tutors who have experience teaching students following the Irish Curriculum and are familiar with its subjects, academic structure, and examination requirements.
