A leading pharmaceutical manufacturing organisation is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Lead to drive continuous improvement initiatives and embed a high-performance culture across the business.
Reporting to the Head of Industry Business Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in developing Operational Excellence capabilities, leading cross-functional improvement projects, and driving measurable gains in efficiency, performance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Champion and embed Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement methodologies across all business functions.
- Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives and improvement projects to deliver measurable business impact.
- Coach, mentor and develop teams in CI tools, problem-solving techniques, and performance management.
- Drive organisational change and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Lead benchmarking, maturity assessments, process confirmation activities, and strategic improvement programmes.
- Build a sustainable culture of continuous improvement through training, communication, and hands-on leadership.
About You
- Proven experience in an Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, Business Excellence or Lean leadership role.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt certified.
- Strong background in manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or production environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong project management, change management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience within medical devices, pharmaceuticals, food production, or other regulated manufacturing sectors is highly desirable.
