Operational Resilience Specialist
12 month contract role - hybrid role (remote and near-shore)
Our client has a requirement for an Operational Resilience Specialist to join their Cyber Security team.
Applicants will have deminstrable experience in operational resilience, buisness continuity and distaster recovery within highly regulated environments - ideally within a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as NIS2 and DORA is essential for this role and must be clearly evident.
Role responsibilities will include (but not be limited to)...
- Work in conjunction with team to develop and maintain continuity frameworks that support clinical and technical operations across hospital sites and digital infrastructure.
- Coordinate testing and validation of continuity and recovery procedures, including scenario exercises and post-incident reviews.
- Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities, advising on risk mitigation strategies that protect patient-facing services.
- Provide resilience oversight and guidance on third-party risk management to ensure vendor alignment with resilience and regulatory standards.
- Contribute to audit and assurance processes, enabling evidence-based reporting to leadership and regulators.
- Support organisational responses to Critical Incidents, working with stakeholders to maintain continuity of patient care and coordinate service recovery activities.
This role will be hybrid with one day/week onsite.
