About The Job

• The Permanent Control (PC) function sits at the heart of Global Markets’ risk architecture, delivering end‑to‑end monitoring of non‑financial risks and embedding a resilient conduct and control framework that safeguards the integrity and long‑term sustainability of the platform
• As part of the Chief of Conduct and Controls Officer (CCCO) and operating across all regions, PC partners closely with key internal stakeholders, business, functions and transversal teams, to design and maintain the operational‑risk cartography, reinforce the front‑to‑end internal‑control set‑up
• By aligning control standards with market best practices and regulatory expectations, PC ensures that Global Markets operates on a solid risk‑aware foundation while supporting the business’s growth and strategic objectives
  
  

Your Main Activities Are

• Assist the PC team in the production of regular operational risk indicator reports
• Support the execution of weekly, monthly, and quarterly trend analyses by assisting in the comparison of current results against historical data to help identify emerging patterns
• Support the collection and organisation of data using provided tools
• Learn to create and maintain queries and assist in performing routine data quality checks to ensure the accuracy and reliability of reporting inputs
• Participate in the evaluation of existing reports to identify areas for improvement
• Contribute to digital transformation projects, including the exploration of automation tools to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual effort
• Assist in the preparation of concise materials, slides, and presentations for governance committees and risk management forums
• Provide support for ad hoc PC requests, such as basic statistical calculations and KPI tracking
• Collaborate with local and global PC teams to learn and maintain consistent reporting standards across different regions
  
  

Profile And Skills To Success

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, IT, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), SharePoint, Outlook
• Basic understanding or academic exposure to Business Intelligence tools
• Foundational knowledge of programming/scripting
• Perfect fluency in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
