WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Operational System Controls Associate is responsible for supporting the daily execution of the testing and monitoring of key controls to ensure that HCA systems comply with applicable company Policies and Procedures. This role is responsible for supporting activities around root-cause analysis sessions, development of system solutions and implementation of developed solutions.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Control Monitoring & Validation

    • Support executing and monitoring key operational system controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

    • Assist manager in investigating and validating control exceptions, system issues, and process variances to identify potential risks

    • Support manager in identifying and escalating control gaps, compliance risk, and process deficiencies to management for timely resolution

  • Root Cause Analysis

    • Partner and support manager in conducting root cause analyses for operational issues, control failures, customer impacts, development, implementation, and validation of corrective actions

  • Process Improvement

    • Support the manager with identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and control effectiveness

Qualifications

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 2-4 years related experience supporting control execution, issue investigation, root-cause analysis, or operational process improvement.

  • Experience using customer relationship management or comparable operational systems preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills sufficient to identify issues, review data, and support resolution.

  • Ability to communicate system, process, and control information clearly.

  • Working knowledge of operational controls, procedures, and issue escalation practices.

  • Familiarity with customer service or financial services processes and workflows.

  • Basic knowledge of root-cause analysis and process-improvement methods.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to learn and use CRM and other operational systems.

  • Ability to organize work, follow established procedures, and meet deadlines.
