Role Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator (Remote) to join our team. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting Service Team Leaders and Regional Business Managers (RBMs) by ensuring effective rota management, workforce coverage, compliance, and operational consistency across the Service function. As an Operations Coordinator, you will help keep field operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, managing absence and vacation coverage, supporting health and safety initiatives, and leveraging operational data to drive performance improvements and informed decision-making. This is a remote-based position within the U.K., with occasional travel requirements of up to 10%. The role follows a 3-2-2-3 shift pattern to provide consistent support and coverage across the Service business. You Will Coordinate regional staff schedules to ensure seamless service coverage and operational efficiency. Proactively manage vacation, sickness, and absence coverage to minimize business disruption. Partner with managers, team leaders, and specialists to support service delivery, safety, and performance goals. Maintain a network of associates and contractors to provide workforce flexibility when needed. Track attendance, payroll-related schedule changes, and workforce coverage requirements. Support Health & Safety initiatives, including incident reporting, investigations, and compliance monitoring. Analyze operational and safety data, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Prepare and distribute performance, compliance, and customer reports to key stakeholders. Assist with workforce planning, recruitment approvals, and resource management activities. Maintain geofencing and regional coverage systems to support field operations. Champion continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence across the business. Requirements Required: Relevant qualification in agricultural, animal science, or related discipline is desirable. Equivalent practical experience will be considered. Previous experience dealing with shift patterns and rotas. Experience of building and maintaining relationships across different areas of business. Knowledge of bovine genetics, farming desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly. Effective time management and ability to manage a busy schedule. Ability to work independently and use own initiative. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Travel within the U.K. may be required on occasion.
