An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly growing commissioning consultancy specialising in hyperscale data centres across Europe.

We're seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the successful delivery of multiple commissioning projects, lead high-performing teams, and help drive the next phase of the company's growth.

This is a strategic leadership role, combining operational excellence with client management, resource planning and business improvement. You'll work remotely from the UK while travelling regularly to projects and clients across Europe.

The Role

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll take ownership of the operational performance of the business, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll provide leadership across multiple commissioning teams while maintaining strong relationships with clients, supporting business growth and ensuring operational consistency across an expanding European project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the operational delivery of multiple commissioning projects across Europe
• Manage project performance, resource allocation and programme delivery
• Support and mentor Commissioning Managers and project teams
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across operational processes and project delivery
• Ensure projects meet programme, quality, commercial and safety objectives
• Collaborate with commercial and business development teams on new opportunities
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement strategies to improve performance
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of technical teams
• Contribute to the company's long-term growth strategy

About You

We're looking for someone who can demonstrate:

• Operational or project leadership experience within commissioning, mission-critical construction or building services
• Strong understanding of data centre commissioning and delivery processes
• Experience managing multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Commercial awareness with the ability to balance client expectations and business performance
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders and clients
• Willingness to travel regularly across Europe
