ACTRIS ERIC is seeking an Officer for Operations Units. The work will consist primarily of tasks related to efficient operation of ACTRIS, especially internal coordination of and communication with the numerous measurement facilities contributing to ACTRIS. The work will also include tasks related to European projects, in which ACTRIS ERIC participates.
Key responsibilities
• Facilitate the ACTRIS National Facility coordination and operate the related database and web interface.
• Facilitate and participate in (mostly online) meetings of operational ACTRIS bodies as representative of the ACTRIS Head Office to enhance internal communication within ACTRIS.
• Operational support to ACTRIS Scientific Advisor
• Participate in planning and execution of externally funded projects, mainly by European Commission.
• Support the integration of new tools and technologies into operations.
• Various other tasks related to operation of ACTRIS.
Requirements
• Master of Science or equivalent degree.
• Experience in EU proposal writing and project work.
• Good organisational and time management abilities.
• Good communication skills
• English proficiency (spoken and written)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Readiness to travel
Considered as benefit
• PhD in atmospheric sciences or other ACTRIS-related field.
• Existing knowledge or experience with ACTRIS or other distributed Research Infrastructures.
• Experience or interest in ICT management.
