A rounded accounting education base, analytical thinking, innovative mindset and polished interpersonal skills for interaction with all levels of an organization are key to success in this role. The Details: If this role, you will be responsible for: Monthly invoice preparation and month-end close process Understanding, researching, and analyzing scheduling/payroll information Liaison between payroll and operational accounting teams Researching and resolving operations and accounting compensation questions in a quick and confidential manner Assisting with the creation and implementation of new standardized processes Preparing journal entries and relevant support Performing general ledger reconciliations – monthly/quarterly/annually with supporting documentation Analyzing and interpreting monthly variances actuals/compared to budget Supporting regional internal and external teams Other projects and duties as assigned What we are looking for: A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of a combination of these values, knowledge, and experience: Values : Work Ethic – Dedication to getting the job done well and on time, regardless of circumstances, a can-do attitude Emotional Intelligence – The ability to identify and manage one’s own emotions, as well as the emotions of others, using this information to guide one’s thinking and actions Adaptability – Demonstrates flexibility and a willingness to change as circumstances evolve and be coachable Resourcefulness – Proactive willingness to utilize available information and tools to figure things out, not afraid to ask questions when necessary Committed – Demonstrates a dedication to the job, project, organization, customer/clients, and co-workers Communication – The ability to speak, write, and listen clearly, consistently, ask questions, and to interact people across all levels of the organization Prioritization/Organization: The ability to triage workload and plan accordingly in order to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently Team Player – The desire to support and help their team succeed, especially under challenging circumstances Knowledge: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Working knowledge of scheduling, payroll, and general ledger accounting Analyzing variances from trend in financial reporting from budget and prior periods Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, comfortable with other Microsoft Office Suite applications Experience:   1-3 years’ experience in public/private accounting Pay Range: $65,000 -$80,000. Exact pay will be determined based on candidate experience and geographical location.
