Oracle HCM OTBI Consultant

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle HCM OTBI Consultant to support the development, enhancement and optimisation of reporting and analytics across Oracle HCM Cloud.

The successful consultant will work closely with HR and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective OTBI solutions, dashboards and analytics.

This is a fully remote position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain Oracle HCM OTBI reports, dashboards and analyses.
  • Work with HR and business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable OTBI reporting solutions.
  • Develop complex reports using Oracle HCM subject areas, logical SQL and data models.
  • Support reporting across areas including Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting and Absence.
  • Troubleshoot and optimise existing OTBI reports and dashboards.
  • Analyse data and ensure reporting outputs are accurate, consistent and aligned with business requirements.
  • Support testing, validation and deployment of new reporting solutions.
  • Provide guidance on OTBI reporting best practices and subject-area usage.
  • Work with other Oracle HCM and technical teams where integrations or downstream reporting requirements are involved.
  • Produce clear documentation for reports, dashboards and reporting processes.

Required Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • Extensive experience developing reports and dashboards using Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM OTBI subject areas and reporting structures.
  • Experience writing and troubleshooting logical SQL.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle HCM data and business processes.
  • Experience across multiple HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting or Absence.
  • Ability to work directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical reporting solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Desirable

  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher (BIP).
  • Experience with Oracle HCM Extracts.
  • Knowledge of Oracle HCM integrations and reporting data flows.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience working on Oracle HCM Cloud implementations or transformation programmes.
