REV is seeking a hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator for a six-month consulting engagement supporting cloud infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate can independently configure and maintain secure cloud environments, resolve infrastructure issues, investigate root causes, and document configurations and solutions.

REV is seeking a hands-on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Administrator for a six-month consulting engagement supporting cloud infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate can independently configure and maintain secure cloud environments, resolve infrastructure issues, investigate root causes, and document configurations and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot OCI infrastructure and services.
- Configure VCNs, NSGs, security lists, DNS, routing, firewalls, DRGs, VPNs, FastConnect, and VCN peering.
- Manage IAM policies, compartments, groups, dynamic groups, federation, and single sign-on.
- Support Microsoft Entra ID integration.
- Monitor metrics, alarms, logs, capacity, utilization, and performance.
- Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Apply cloud security, access management, and operational best practices.
- Use Terraform and OCI Resource Manager where applicable.
- Support hybrid-cloud connectivity and document configurations and resolutions.
- Hands-on experience administering OCI or a comparable public cloud platform.
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security rules, routing, DNS, and connectivity.
- Experience configuring and troubleshooting IAM, access policies, federation, or single sign-on.
- Experience monitoring cloud infrastructure, investigating incidents, and performing root cause analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud capacity, resource utilization, security, and operational support.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Current OCI certification, such as OCI Architect Associate or OCI Architect Professional.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Terraform, OCI Resource Manager, and hybrid-cloud environments is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to work as a 1099 independent contractor for six months.
- Ability to demonstrate personal, hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure administration.
- Ability to provide the exact name and current status of the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certification held.
- Ability to successfully complete all client-required security requirements before accessing client systems and information.
