Oracle EPM Cloud SME – Contract

• Daily Rate: Negotiable, depending on experience
• Work Authorisation: Must have valid authorisation to work in the relevant EU country.

About the Role

Recann is recruiting an experienced Oracle EPM Cloud SME for a contract opportunity supporting a large enterprise Oracle EPM environment.

The successful consultant will provide hands-on application support, administration and technical oversight across Oracle EPM Cloud, working closely with business stakeholders and an external managed services provider.

This is a remote opportunity open to candidates based across Europe, with occasional travel to the Dublin office.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support across Oracle EPM Cloud environments.
• Support Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close (FCCS), Enterprise Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS) and associated modules.
• Manage month-end close activities, including system readiness checks, substitution variables, data loads and scheduled processes.
• Troubleshoot application incidents, integrations, user access and security-related issues.
• Monitor automated jobs, system schedulers and integration processes.
• Coordinate Oracle Cloud monthly releases, regression testing and environment maintenance.
• Work alongside external managed service providers to resolve incidents and maintain service levels.
• Support SOX compliance requirements, including control documentation and audit evidence.
• Assist with integrations involving SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise applications.
• Support ongoing Oracle EPM projects and the transition of new functionality into business-as-usual operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the existing EPM support model.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud.
• Experience supporting Oracle FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close).
• Experience with Oracle EPBCS/PBCS (Planning and Budgeting).
• Proven background in L2/L3 application support, system administration or production support.
• Understanding of financial consolidation, month-end close and financial planning processes.
• Experience managing scheduled jobs, data loads, access controls and application troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with technical teams, business stakeholders and external providers.
• Valid authorisation to work in the relevant EU country.

Desirable Skills

• Oracle Tax Reporting, Enterprise Data Management (EDM) or Workforce Planning.
• Oracle Capital Planning and Gross-to-Net processes.
• Integration experience involving SAP S/4HANA, Coupa or Informatica.
• SOX compliance and financial controls.
• Oracle EPM environment cloning, migrations and disaster recovery.
• Experience supporting enterprise or pharmaceutical environments.
