What YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Own the end-to-end Oracle Fusion solution architecture and design for the deployment of Oracle Fusion Cloud across nVent's Equipment Protection (EQP) and Data Solutions (DS) businesses in North America, replacing JD Edwards World.
  • Lead solution architecture throughout the program lifecycle, from discovery and future-state design through build, testing, deployment, and stabilization, ensuring successful business outcomes.
  • Define and govern the target-state architecture across business processes, integrations, data, security, reporting, and analytics to deliver a scalable, supportable, and integrated solution.
  • Partner with business process owners to standardize and optimize end-to-end processes, rationalize legacy JDE customizations, and improve controls, automation, user experience, and operational efficiency.
  • Challenge and refine business requirements and solution designs by balancing Oracle leading practices, business priorities, cost, risk, and long-term maintainability.
  • Facilitate architecture workshops and key design decisions with senior business and IT stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Provide leadership and direction to implementation partners, technical teams, and functional workstreams, including coaching, mentoring, and architectural oversight.
  • Maintain accountability for solution quality, architectural decisions, cross-functional dependencies, and overall delivery success.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to define integration architecture, API strategies, middleware approaches, master data management, and enterprise design standards.
  • Lead architecture decisions involving integrated enterprise platforms, including MES, WMS, TMS, PLM, EDI, CRM, and Data & Analytics solutions.
  • Chair solution design reviews and ensure architectural consistency, alignment, and compliance across all program workstreams.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate architectural risks, dependencies, technical debt, and design trade-offs throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Establish and enforce solution governance, architecture standards, and ERP design principles to support long-term scalability and operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary Oracle Fusion solution authority and trusted advisor to executive leadership, business stakeholders, and program governance bodies.
  • Lead solution strategy for data migration, cutover planning, and business readiness to ensure a successful transition from JD Edwards World to Oracle Fusion Cloud.
  • Support the development of an Oracle Fusion Center of Excellence (CoE) by establishing standards, reusable assets, governance processes, and internal capability development.
  • Travel up to 35% within North America (U.S. and Mexico) during key phases of the transformation program.

YOU HAVE:·


Education: Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Systems)·

Experience:·

  • Ideally 10+ years of ERP experience
  • 5+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud implementation experience
  • Proven experience serving as Lead Solution Architect or ERP Program Architect
  • Experience delivering at least:

- Two Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations

- One large-scale ERP transformation program

- Deep experience in manufacturing and supply chain environments.

- Strong understanding of replacing legacy ERP platforms

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$123,500.00 - $229,500.00

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
