Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)– Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Fusion Technical Consultant to support the development, integration, reporting, data migration and technical support activities for Oracle Fusion Cloud applications.

The candidate will work closely with functional consultants, technical leads, integration teams and business users to deliver reliable and scalable Oracle Fusion solutions.

Core Responsibilities

1. Oracle Fusion Technical Development

• Develop and maintain technical solutions for Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Analyze functional requirements and prepare technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain:
• BI Publisher (BIP) Reports
• OTBI Reports and Dashboards
• SQL queries and data models
• FBDI templates
• HDL/HSDL programs
• REST and SOAP integrations
• Scheduled processes
• Perform technical unit testing and defect fixing.
• Follow Oracle development and coding standards.

2. Oracle Integration Cloud – OIC

• Develop and support integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Build integrations between Oracle Fusion and third-party applications.
• Work with REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP and database adapters.
• Implement integration mappings, lookups, fault handling and notifications.
• Monitor integrations and troubleshoot failures.
• Analyze integration logs and perform root-cause analysis.
• Support OIC deployment across development, test and production environments.

3. REST & SOAP APIs

• Develop and consume Oracle Fusion REST APIs.
• Work with Oracle Fusion SOAP Web Services.
• Understand API request/response structures.
• Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Troubleshoot API errors and integration failures.
• Support API-based automation and data extraction.

4. BI Publisher & OTBI

• Develop BI Publisher reports based on business requirements.
• Create SQL queries and data models.
• Develop report templates using RTF/Excel formats.
• Configure scheduled and bursting reports.
• Develop and modify OTBI analyses and dashboards.
• Troubleshoot report data and performance issues.
• Validate reports with functional teams.

5. Data Migration

• Support Oracle Fusion data migration activities using:
• FBDI
• HDL/HSDL
• REST APIs
• ADFdi
• Spreadsheet Loaders
• Prepare and validate migration data.
• Execute data loads and troubleshoot errors.
• Perform data reconciliation after migration.
• Support mock conversions and production cutover activities.

6. Technical Documentation

• Prepare and maintain:
• Technical Design Documents
• Integration Design Documents
• Report Design Documents
• API specifications
• Data migration documents
• Test scripts
• Deployment documents
• Technical support/runbook documents

7. Production Support

• Provide technical support for Oracle Fusion applications.
• Analyze and resolve integration, reporting and data issues.
• Monitor scheduled processes and integrations.
• Perform root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Coordinate with Oracle Support when required.
• Support production deployments and emergency fixes.
• Participate in incident and problem management.

8. Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Finance, SCM, HCM and other functional consultants.
• Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in requirement and solution discussions.
• Provide technical feasibility and effort estimates.
• Support SIT, UAT and production validation.
• Assist functional teams in troubleshooting technical issues.

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of overall IT experience.
• 3+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud technical experience.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle Fusion implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience in OIC, BIP, OTBI, REST/SOAP and FBDI/HDL.
• Experience working with offshore/onsite teams.
• Good understanding of Oracle Fusion business processes.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Ideal Candidate

The candidate should be capable of independently developing technical solutions, troubleshooting production issues and working effectively with functional and technical teams across the complete Oracle Fusion project lifecycle.
