Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion & EBS Project Manager to lead complex, enterprise-scale Oracle ERP transformation programs from initiation through go-live and hypercare.

The ideal candidate brings a strong track record delivering Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS R12) programs, including implementations, upgrades, global rollouts, and EBS-to-Fusion Cloud transformation and migration initiatives.

This is a highly visible, client-facing leadership role requiring strong project governance, executive communication, financial and resource management, and the ability to coordinate large cross-functional teams across business, functional, technical, integration, and data workstreams.

Responsibilities:

Lead End-to-End Oracle ERP Delivery

  • Lead the successful delivery of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS programs, including implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and EBS-to-Fusion migration initiatives.
  • Own delivery across the full project lifecycle, including initiation, discovery, design, build, testing, data migration, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
  • Establish and maintain project governance, delivery methodology, milestones, dependencies, and quality standards.
  • Ensure projects remain aligned with client objectives, contractual commitments, timelines, budgets, and quality expectations.

Project Planning & Governance

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, integrated schedules, RAID logs, resource plans, financial tracking, and executive status reporting.
  • Lead project governance meetings, steering committees, executive reviews, and client status meetings.
  • Establish clear ownership, accountability, milestones, and escalation paths across all workstreams.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, dependencies, and potential delivery impacts and drive them to resolution.

Cross-Functional & Team Leadership

  • Coordinate large, multidisciplinary teams spanning:
    • Finance
    • Supply Chain Management (SCM)
    • Procurement
    • HCM
    • Technical/Development
    • Integrations
    • Data Migration
    • Testing
    • Organizational Change Management
  • Effectively manage onshore/offshore delivery models and coordinate NTT DATA, client, and third-party resources.
  • Foster strong collaboration between business stakeholders, functional consultants, technical teams, vendors, and client leadership.

Financial, Scope & Resource Management

  • Manage project scope, assumptions, dependencies, and formal change control processes.
  • Track project budgets, financial performance, resource utilization, and forecast-to-complete against contractual commitments and SOWs.
  • Identify resource constraints and proactively adjust staffing and delivery plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Partner with account and delivery leadership to manage commercial and contractual considerations.

Cutover, Go-Live & Hypercare

  • Lead comprehensive cutover and go-live planning, including mock conversions, readiness assessments, rehearsal cycles, go/no-go decisions, and rollback planning.
  • Coordinate business and technical readiness across all workstreams.
  • Drive issue resolution and executive escalation throughout cutover and go-live.
  • Lead transition into production support and post-go-live hypercare.

Oracle Updates, Upgrades & Integrations

  • Manage Oracle Fusion quarterly update cycles and EBS patching/upgrades when applicable.
  • Oversee dependencies involving third-party applications and enterprise integrations, including:
    • Legacy systems
    • Banking platforms
    • EPM/HFM
    • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
    • Other middleware and external systems
  • Ensure integration, data, and technical dependencies are incorporated into the overall project plan and governance framework.

Change Management & Client Engagement

  • Partner with organizational change management teams to coordinate training, communications, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities.
  • Build strong relationships with client executives, business leaders, IT stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Communicate complex project status, risks, decisions, and recommendations clearly to both technical and executive audiences.

Required Qualifications

  • 12–15+ years of IT/ERP delivery experience, including at least 6+ years managing Oracle ERP projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Oracle Fusion Cloud and/or Oracle EBS R12 implementations and transformation programs.
  • Proven delivery of at least four full-lifecycle Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
  • Hands-on project management experience with Oracle EBS R12 environments.
  • Experience leading or managing EBS-to-Fusion Cloud migration/transformation programs.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Financials, SCM, and Procurement business processes and their integration across an enterprise Oracle environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in:

    • Scope and change management
    • Contract/SOW management
    • Risk and issue management
    • Executive reporting and governance
  • Exceptional client-facing, executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Experience working with distributed/global delivery teams and onshore/offshore models.
  • Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Agile/Scrum certification or experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
  • Oracle Cloud implementation certification.
