OTR Semi-Truck Driver - Hartson Kennedy (Part-Time, 2 days/week)

The OTR Semi-Truck Driver is responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances using heavy-duty trucks, such as tractor-trailers or 18-wheelers. This role requires strict adherence to safety regulations, schedules, and federal transportation laws, while maintaining accurate records and ensuring cargo is delivered on time and in good condition. Job Duties and Responsibilities Transport countertops to multiple stops including DC’s, service centers and home delivery customers safely and efficiently Load, unload and secure freight and verify load accuracy against packing list and BOL Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures Complete required logs, delivery paperwork, and documentation accurately Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment and compliance Communicate effectively with outside customers, warehouse and office staff Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license Ability to meet DOT physical and driving requirements Clean MVR 1 year tractor/trailer experience Strong Safety awareness and attention to detail Dependable attendance and strong work ethic OTR and city driving Requirements Professionally represents Hartson-Kennedy Flexible work schedule and/or overtime as needed (Monday-Friday) Available for occasional overnight runs (including over weekends) Ability to lift 125 lbs Must pass a background and drug test What we offer Competitive hourly pay Overtime paid after 40 hours per week Home time – nightly, weekly and weekends Weekly pay and direct deposit Company uniforms provided Yearly stipend for steel toes boots/shoes Operate a leased tractor (6 years old or newer)
