Outbound Customer Retention Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused Outbound Customer Retention Specialist to support client retention and contract renewal activities on behalf of our client on a temporary basis. This role will focus on engaging existing customers, addressing needs, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring a seamless renewal process.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound customer outreach to support retention and renewal efforts.
• Manage client relationships and address customer questions or concerns.
• Track upcoming renewals and maintain accurate client records within CRM systems.
• Conduct account check-ins and identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and support customer success.
• Prepare account updates and renewal status reports as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, client services, sales support, or renewals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Preferred:

• Experience with contract renewals, customer retention, or account management.
• Experience in a B2B, SaaS, technology, or financial services environment.
