Native Teams is a global platform for work payments and employment. Beyond managing payroll, compliance, and taxes, we integrate financial tools to maximise the value of every work payment, worldwide.

We are expanding our global team and looking for an Outbound Team Lead to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Would you like to take on a new challenge in the field of Sales in a successful, fast-growing global start-up?

As the Outbound Team Lead at Native Teams, you will lead and develop our outbound sales team, made up of Outbound Sales Representatives and Outbound Sales Managers. You will be accountable for the team's pipeline generation, conversion, and revenue results, while coaching each person to perform at a higher level. You'll own outbound strategy and execution, make sure the handoff from rep to manager runs smoothly, and work closely with RevOps, Enablement, and Marketing to keep the motion scalable and data-driven.

Location: Remote

Salary Range: Flexible

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Outbound Sales Representatives and Outbound Sales Managers.
  • Run regular 1:1s, call reviews, and pipeline reviews, giving clear and actionable feedback.
  • Support onboarding and ramp of new hires, and build individual development plans.
  • Contribute to hiring by interviewing candidates and helping define what good looks like for each role.

Outbound Strategy & Pipeline Performance

  • Own the outbound motion end to end, including ICP and territory definition, account prioritization, sequencing, and channel mix.
  • Set activity, meeting, and pipeline targets for the team, and track performance against them.
  • Identify bottlenecks across the funnel and act on them with changes to messaging, targeting, or process.
  • Test and iterate on outbound plays, and scale what works.

Rep-to-Manager Handoff & Deal Support

  • Ensure qualified opportunities move cleanly from Outbound Reps to Outbound Managers, with consistent qualification standards and well-documented notes.
  • Step into key deals as needed to support discovery, negotiation, and closing, especially with C-level and multi-stakeholder buyers.
  • Review pricing and proposals on strategic or complex opportunities.

Forecasting & CRM Discipline

  • Own accurate forecasting for the outbound team and keep CRM data clean and consistent (HubSpot).
  • Report regularly on pipeline health, conversion rates, velocity, and revenue to sales leadership.
  • Hold the team accountable for activity logging and deal hygiene.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with RevOps and Enablement on tooling, reporting, training, and process improvements.
  • Work with Marketing on ABM, events, and messaging, and feed back what outbound is hearing from the market.
  • Align with Inbound, Customer Success, and Onboarding for smooth handovers and a consistent customer experience.

Market & Competitive Knowledge

  • Stay current on global payroll, compliance, mobility, and HR tech.
  • Track competitor offerings and help evolve positioning, pricing, and messaging.

Requirements

  • Proven experience leading or coaching a B2B outbound sales team (formally as a manager or team lead, or informally as a senior seller mentoring others).
  • Track record of building pipeline through outbound and closing full-cycle deals.
  • Strong coaching skills, with the ability to give direct, constructive feedback and develop people at different experience levels.
  • Data-driven approach to funnel metrics, forecasting, and performance management.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with multiple stakeholders, including C-level.
  • Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot preferred).
  • Comfort operating in international, compliance-driven sales environments.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience in global payroll, compliance, HR tech, mobility, fintech, or SaaS is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Experience building or scaling an outbound function in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Experience designing sequences, playbooks, or ICP and territory models.
  • Multilingual capabilities are an advantage.

Benefits

  • Dynamic and interesting work in an early-stage, funded startup
  • Ability to influence the next stages of our growth
  • Flexible work environment
  • Competitive salary
  • Experience working in the ever-changing world of fintech
  • Opportunities for professional and personal growth
  • Additional employee benefits
