This one's for you if you're in London and ready for a change
We know how this goes. You're scrolling LinkedIn on a packed Tube, rain on the window, and something makes you stop. Maybe Australia has been on your mind for a while. Maybe you've been picturing finishing work and heading straight to the beach for a swim, or a surf before dinner.
Either way, you're not alone. A few people on the team made exactly this move. They saw a job ad, had a conversation, and before long they were landing in Sydney. People from all over the world who decided the timing felt right, and the business has got pretty good at making that transition smooth. And with summer about to start here, the timing has rarely been better.
We're partnering with an independent digital consultancy of around 50 specialists based in Sydney. They work across SEO, paid media, content, analytics and digital strategy for Australian and North American clients, from global household names to ambitious scale-ups. Their organic team, spanning SEO, content, comms and outreach, sits at the centre of the business.
The role
This is outreach done properly: hands-on, measured in links and authority, and right at the point where SEO, digital PR and brand meet.
It's half client management, half hands-on delivery. You'll own each client relationship directly, presenting results to marketing teams and CMOs across Australia and the US. Then you'll do the work behind it: finding the sites, writing the pitch and earning the link yourself.
And the work is moving into new territory. As search shifts into AI answers, the team is building programs to get brands cited in the sources those tools draw from. You won't just run what exists. You'll help decide what comes next.
In short: own the client, do the work, and help shape what outreach looks like in an AI-led search world.
What you'll do
Run off-page programs end to end: identify target sites, pitch editors, bloggers and journalists, negotiate placements and track every link
Lead journalistic outreach and reactive PR, turning around expert comment within 24 hours in the voice of the client spokesperson
Build programs that get brands included in the listicles, roundups and community conversations that AI tools cite
Own client relationships directly, from regular updates to monthly reporting with marketing teams and CMOs
Analyse competitor backlink profiles, toxic links, unlinked mentions and EEAT signals, and turn findings into a plan the client can act on
Work alongside SEO, content, comms and organic social on integrated campaigns
What you'll bring
Three or more years in SEO, digital PR, outreach or content, with hands-on experience earning links yourself, not only overseeing others who did
Digital PR measured in links, authority and organic visibility, not just coverage. You can explain why a campaign worked in SEO terms
Confidence in front of clients: presenting results, handling performance conversations and giving direction
Writing that lands with journalists, and real comfort in a spreadsheet
Genuine curiosity about where search is heading, including GEO and AI visibility
Strong backgrounds include UK digital PR or link building agencies, SEO agencies with an authority focus, or journalists who have moved into SEO or digital PR
Why this role
No account managers between you and the client. You own the strategy, the delivery and the relationship, so your work is seen.
An outreach offering that spans SEO, digital PR, content and AI visibility, with award-winning campaigns behind it.
A clear path from Manager to Senior Manager to Director as the offering grows.
The culture is the real thing. Everyone talks about culture. Here it shows up in how people treat each other and how long they stay: attrition sits around 13%, and plenty of the team have grown from junior roles into senior ones.
The work is genuinely interesting. Varied clients across Australia and the US, real briefs, and a new frontier in AI visibility that the team is actively building programs for.
Flexibility that works. Two days in the office, three from home, and time in lieu when an early US or late UK client call comes up.
A diverse, international team. Colleagues come from Colombia, Spain, Italy, Singapore, India, Japan and beyond, so moving countries is something plenty of people here have done themselves.
On visas and relocation
You'll need to be eligible for a Working Holiday Visa, or hold other Australian working rights, and be able to make the move to Sydney within the next few months. After a successful probation period, the agency will sponsor your visa.
