Outsourcing Accountant

Our client is a well-established accountancy practice with a strong focus on outsourced finance and advisory services.

Working with a diverse portfolio of clients, from large international businesses and their Irish subsidiaries to growing local companies, this is a role that offers far more variety than traditional practice accounting.

You’ll work closely with clients, take ownership of their finance function and gain exposure to management accounts, statutory accounts, tax, M&A and outsourced Financial Controller responsibilities.

About You

• Qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA
• Experience in practice, outsourcing or a client-facing accounting environment
• Strong management accounts and financial reporting experience
• Good understanding of statutory accounts and tax
• Commercially minded with strong attention to detail
• Confident communicating with clients and senior stakeholders
• Organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Someone who enjoys variety and taking ownership of their work

About Your New Role

Always

• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Preparing statutory financial statements
• Managing tax compliance and reporting
• Acting as an outsourced Financial Controller for a portfolio of clients
• Working closely with clients across a range of sectors and business sizes
• Providing accurate, commercially focused financial information

Often

• Working with large international organisations and Irish subsidiaries
• Supporting clients through M&A activity
• Advising clients on their wider finance requirements
• Working directly with senior stakeholders
• Managing multiple clients and deadlines

Occasionally

• Getting involved in ad hoc finance and advisory projects
• Supporting process improvements and reporting enhancements
• Taking on additional responsibilities as client needs evolve
