The Role
We are looking for a OutSystems Engineer to join the team and contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable web and mobile applications built on the OutSystems platform.
You will work as part of an experienced engineering team, participating across the development lifecycle - from requirements analysis and solution design to implementation, integration, testing, and production support.
The role requires solid hands-on OutSystems development experience, good understanding of integrations and databases, and the ability to independently deliver development tasks while following established architecture, security, performance, and engineering standards.

The Role

The role requires solid hands-on OutSystems development experience, good understanding of integrations and databases, and the ability to independently deliver development tasks while following established architecture, security, performance, and engineering standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial software development experience, with solid hands-on experience using OutSystems.
- Practical experience developing web and/or mobile applications with OutSystems, preferably using OutSystems 10/11, Traditional Web, or Reactive Web.
- Good understanding of the OutSystems development lifecycle, application architecture, reusable components, and platform best practices.
- Experience integrating applications with third-party systems using REST APIs and/or SOAP services.
- Working knowledge of C#/.NET, JavaScript, SQL, and SQL Server or similar relational databases.
- Ability to develop, troubleshoot, and maintain application logic, integrations, database queries, and user interfaces.
- Understanding of application performance, security, maintainability, and scalability principles.
- Familiarity with source control and development tools such as Git, JIRA, Confluence, Postman, or SoapUI.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with developers, technical leads, QA engineers, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to analyse requirements, estimate development work, and deliver features with a good level of independence.
- Good communication skills and the ability to discuss technical requirements and implementation details with both technical and non-technical team members.
- Experience with Azure, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, React, or Node.js would be an advantage.
- Experience within employee benefits/HR, retail, banking, financial services, or other high-transaction environments would be highly desirable.
