Role Description The Senior Health & Safety Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and improving health, safety, and environmental practices across the organization. This role involves developing, implementing, and updating health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with regulatory requirements and best practices. The specialist will conduct risk assessments, review incident reports, recommend corrective actions, and track follow-up to ensure continuous improvement. Daily tasks include advising teams on workplace safety standards, creating and delivering safety training materials, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture. The specialist will also monitor compliance with occupational health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS) regulations, prepare reports, and support audits or inspections as needed.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong expertise in Health & Safety and Workplace Safety, with a track record of designing and implementing effective safety programs.
• Candidates should possess experience in Occupational Health and Environment Health and Safety (EHS), including regulatory compliance and risk assessment.
• Candidates should possess skills in Safety Training, including creating training content, facilitating sessions, and evaluating training outcomes.
• Candidates should possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration abilities, and be comfortable working independently in a remote, part-time setting.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or equivalent) and experience in international or multi-site environments are beneficial.
• A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field is preferred.
