Role Description The IT Support Officer role at ROUNDB Group is a part-time hybrid position based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, with some flexibility for work from home. The IT Support Officer will provide day-to-day technical support to staff, including diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on desktop computers and peripherals. Responsibilities include responding to support requests, guiding users through troubleshooting steps, maintaining and updating IT equipment, and escalating complex issues to senior IT team members when needed. The role also involves monitoring system performance, documenting incidents and resolutions, and supporting printers and other office devices to ensure smooth operations. The IT Support Officer will collaborate with colleagues, follow established IT procedures, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.

- Candidates should possess strong Technical Support and Troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve user issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including basic networking and operating systems awareness.
- Candidates should possess practical experience with Desktop Computers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.
- Candidates should possess Printer Support skills, covering setup, connectivity, and routine problem resolution.
- Candidates should possess clear communication skills, customer-focused mindset, and the ability to explain technical information in simple terms.
- Candidates should possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple support requests in a part-time schedule.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with ticketing or helpdesk systems; relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL) are beneficial.
- Candidates should possess previous experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment; a diploma or degree in IT or a related field is an advantage.
