The Desire Company is seeking experienced home services professionals in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical to participate in paid brand projects with leading home, appliance, and lifestyle brands. This is a great opportunity to use your real-world trade experience to collaborate on content that helps shoppers make confident purchase decisions.

Do you work under a home services franchise like Mr. Rooter Plumbing, Benjamin Franklin Plumbing, Aire Serv, One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, Mr. Electric, or Mister Sparky, or do installs through a major home improvement retailer’s installation program? We especially want to hear from you.

Project Overview:

• Filming Location: Varies by project (travel covered if required)
• Time on Set: Approximately 3 to 5 hours (half-day; subject to change)
• Final Deliverables: 1 Product Recommendation Video per project
• Starting At: $1,500

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct product evaluations and provide expert insights related to plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, home systems, and home maintenance.
• Participate in a brief pre-production call to align on project goals and expectations.
• Collaborate with our production crew during on-site filming sessions.
• Communicate your professional recommendations in a clear, relatable manner for consumers.

Once you express your interest, we will present you to various brand partners for potential selection. If chosen, we’ll schedule a pre-production call to discuss project goals and logistics before moving into the filming phase.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience as a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or electrician, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant field experience.
• Current work under a home services franchise brand (such as those listed above) or do installs through a major home improvement retailer’s installation program?
• Strong verbal communication skills and comfort speaking about your expertise on camera are highly valued.
