Show job description

We’re supporting an integrated marketing agency in Warwickshire as they look for a PPC Account Manager to join their search team. Working across leisure, automotive, retail, eCommerce and lead generation, the agency has a varied client portfolio and has recently won a significant new account. They’re looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck into campaigns, takes ownership of their work and brings ideas to the table.

The Role

Reporting to the PPC Manager, you’ll manage your own accounts and support the delivery of larger campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads. This is a hands-on paid search role, covering Search, Shopping and Performance Max, with responsibility for campaign planning, implementation, optimisation and reporting. You’ll manage budgets, monitor spend and performance against client objectives, and turn your analysis into clear recommendations. You’ll also build strong client relationships, present results and proactively investigate opportunities to improve performance. Paid social is handled by a separate team, although you’ll collaborate with colleagues across the agency to understand how paid search fits into the wider marketing mix.

Skills & Experience

  • At least three years’ PPC experience, with confidence managing paid search campaigns independently.
  • Strong working knowledge of Google and Microsoft Ads, including Search, Shopping and Performance Max.
  • Experience managing budgets, pacing spend and optimising towards targets such as CPA, CPL and ROAS.
  • Confidence using Google Analytics to analyse performance and identify opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills, with experience presenting results and recommendations to clients.
  • A proactive, inquisitive approach - someone who investigates issues and comes forward with potential solutions.
  • Good organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise across multiple accounts.
  • An interest in wider digital marketing and a willingness to share ideas and learn from others.
  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager, scripts and tracking would be beneficial, as would Google Ads certification.

Benefits

The role offers a salary of up to £38,000 and hybrid working, with two days a week in the Stratford-upon-Avon office. You’ll receive 25 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service, alongside an additional day off for your birthday. Benefits also include private health insurance, a pension, long-term illness income support, death in service cover and a monthly subscription of your choice. There are early Friday finishes during the summer, regular social events and ongoing development through internal training and sessions with industry partners and suppliers.
