Parabroker
Full-time · Remote · Reports to: Senior Broker / Broking Manager
About the RoleTrueCapital is looking for an experienced Parabroker to provide dedicated end-to-end support to our mortgage and finance brokers. You'll take ownership of loan applications from scenario and borrowing capacity modelling through to settlement and beyond, act as a trusted point of contact for clients throughout the process, and keep every file compliant and audit-ready. This is a remote, full-time role suited to someone who already knows their way around lender platforms and aggregator CRMs and is comfortable managing a busy pipeline with minimal supervision.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoan Application Processing
• Run scenario and serviceability modelling, including borrowing capacity calculations, repayment estimates, and lender policy comparisons, to help the broker structure the right deal.
• Prepare, lodge, and manage loan applications across multiple lenders, from initial scenario through to unconditional approval and settlement.
• Package applications with all required supporting documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission.
• Liaise directly with lenders, valuers, and solicitors to track application progress, resolve queries, and clear conditions.
• Proactively chase outstanding documents and information from clients and referral partners to prevent delays.
• Monitor a live pipeline of files, flagging bottlenecks and escalating at-risk deals to the broker early.
Client Liaison
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for clients once a loan is submitted, providing clear and timely updates.
• Set expectations with clients on timeframes, next steps, and documentation requirements.
• Handle client queries professionally, escalating anything requiring the broker's direct input.
Compliance & Documentation
• Ensure every file meets responsible lending obligations, including accurate needs analyses and credit guides.
• Maintain complete, audit-ready file notes in line with TrueCapital's compliance and record-keeping standards.
• Keep up to date with lender policy changes, NCCP requirements, and best interests duty obligations.
• Support internal and external compliance audits by preparing files and documentation on request.
CRM & Administrative Support
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the aggregator CRM (e.g. loan status, notes, tasks, and milestones).
• Manage the broker's pipeline reporting, settlement tracking, and diary of key dates and follow-ups.
• Provide general administrative support to the broking team, including correspondence and file setup.
Post-Settlement Support
• Complete post-settlement checks to confirm loan structure, limits, and rates match what was approved.
• Manage post-settlement client communications, including welcome/settlement confirmation and annual review scheduling.
• Track and follow up on trailing commission reconciliation and lender clawback queries as they arise.
• Identify and flag refinance, top-up, or cross-sell opportunities from the existing client book for the broker to action.
• Maintain client records post-settlement to support ongoing servicing, reviews, and compliance requirements.
• 2+ years' experience in a parabroker, loan processing, or mortgage broking support role.
• Solid working knowledge of the home loan process, lender policies, and aggregator platforms.
• Understanding of NCCP responsible lending obligations and best interests duty.
• Hands-on experience with industry tools such as BrokerEngine, Application Online (AOL), Quickli, PropertyHub, and Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams, SharePoint), along with lender-specific portals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-first approach.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently in a remote setting.
• Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (or working towards) highly regarded.
• Comfortable working autonomously and communicating proactively in a remote team environment.
• A fully remote, full-time role with flexibility over your working environment.
• Ongoing training and support to develop your career in mortgage and finance broking.
• A collaborative team culture with clear pathways for growth.
• Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
