Parking System Test Engineer /Junior/Medior

Cars equipped with several ECUs, enabling various Parking Assistance functions. It is crucial, to get a comprehensive overview of the system behavior, running virtual simulations and mixing in real life scenarios, to ensure functional correctness along with cost efficiency. The task of the test team is to make sure: we know about all defects in the system on time and be a main pillar of quality.

As part of our System Test Team, you will play a key role in safeguarding product quality by identifying system defects early and verifying the functional correctness of driver assistance solutions.

What exactly is System testing?

• Verification of the Functional correctness of the System
• Checking the SW behavior against Requirements
• Simulation of real-life scenarios against the SW, running on the target HW

Main duties and responsibilities:

• System / Software testing of complex parking systems
• Requirement analysis and test design
• Specification and implementation of test cases according to feature requirements
• Review of requirements and test specifications
• Execution of tests on system level in HiL and SIL environments
• Systematic documentation of results
• Cooperate with development team in defect fixing

Required competencies:

• Experience with at least one high level programming language (Python, …)
• Experience in SYS-SW testing or development
• Ability to work within a team
• Good analytical skills
• Intermediate or advanced level of English in written and oral form

Desirable competencies:

• ISTQB Certified Tester certification
